What does 'Ookti' mean
When it came time to name my business, I knew I wanted something that was not only memorable but also had a personal touch. My husband who suggested the name "ookti." This playful twist on the Arabic word "ukhti," which means "sister," instantly resonated with me.
The name "ookti" is quirky and unique, making it stand out in a sea of conventional business names. It's easy to remember and has a fun, approachable vibe that reflects the essence of my business. Moreover, "ukhti" holds a special significance for me. It symbolises the bond of sisterhood, a sense of community, and support, which are core values I want my business to embody.
Choosing "ookti" was more than just picking a catchy name. It was about infusing my business with a sense of identity and warmth. It reminds me daily of the personal connections and the supportive network that inspired me to start this journey.
